What if leading each other to interactive connection with Jesus was normal in the church?
What if noticing that we are not experiencing connection with God and other people was an invitation instead of a frustration?
The Well Toccoa’s mission is to help people connect with Jesus. We are dependent on Holy Spirit as we create spaces for people to practice interactive prayer in community. It’s like a community gathering at a well - everyone gets a drink!
Our vision is to cultivate relationships with Jesus so that together, we become a people who are so deeply and safely connected with Jesus that we can find our way back to Him from anywhere, and confidently guide others to Him as well. We want this kind of transformational connection with Jesus to be “normal” in the church.
Our History
The Well Toccoa began as a gathering of believers who wanted to practice connecting with Jesus together. They started out in Demorest, then for many years stewarded a building on Broad Street in Toccoa, Georgia that was open to the public as a house of prayer, called The Well House of Prayer. Staff members and the Well family laid a rich history of worship, learning to pray, and setting aside time and space that is dedicated to prayer. In 2025, The Well changed its name to The Well Toccoa and is now housed inside First Alliance Church Toccoa, where The Well Toccoa has an office and uses the fellowship hall for the prayer room and prayer gathering on Monday nights.
Through the years of prayer ministry in the history of The Well, a prophetic vision of 10,000 baptisms happening in Toccoa and cascading throughout the Southeast US. In 2020 while overseas on the mission field, Jimbo had a dream of wildfire spreading throughout the Northeast GA / West SC area. With faith-filled anticipation, we are working to bring more of God’s activity and see revival fire spreading throughout this region. Partnering with churches, ministry leaders, and all those hungry for deep connection with Jesus, we long to see more vibrant prayer communities that help people connect with Jesus.
Our Horizon
Our strategy is to accompany people to safely connect with Jesus for themselves first, then to equip them in how to accompany others to safely connect with Jesus.
The Well Toccoa’s three main ministry pathways are:
- Prayer ministry and prayer mentoring with individuals, couples, or families
- Prayer formation and activation with groups (teaching on and practicing interactive connection with Jesus)
- Serving and/or training prayer ministers to facilitate prayer ministry for events like conferences or camps.
The Well Toccoa serves the Church in the following ways:
- We partner with leaders so they can experience freedom and then share their healing with those they’re serving.
- We partner with churches and organizations so that their members can connect with Jesus and be equipped on their journey towards wholeness.
- We mentor people in connecting with Jesus and helping others connect with Jesus.
- We partner with people so they can receive healing on their journey to wholeness
